And so a bit about me.....
 
Photography has always been a hobby of mine and when 18 years of employment in the banking sector came to end, I had more time on my hands with which to enjoy it, the wonderful New Forest where I live and walking with my two retired greyhounds, Rosie and Abi, and my two lurchers, Jack and Suki.
 
Taking a somewhat belated gap year (or three!) gave me the opportunity to take a step back and look at what I would like to do next. It has been the kind comments made about my photographs from not only people who know me that has encouraged me to pursue photography as a career. With the help and support of my husband, family and friends, my dream of working for myself and sharing the things I am passionate about has come to fruition.
 
It is one of those things that if I don't give it a go now, I'll never know. After all, nothing ventured, nothing gained.
